Of the 69 cards we track, 15 give you a physical card for free, 22 are virtual only, and the rest charge between about $5 and $100 for a physical card, or don't publish a price. RedotPay ($100), ether.fi ($60 on Core) and Avici ($50) are among the priciest. Gnosis Pay, now closed to new sign-ups, was physical only at about €30. Some metal cards come free with a paid plan, such as Xapo with its $1,000 yearly membership.

Frequently asked questions
Which crypto cards have a free physical card?
Cards listed as Free in the physical column, such as Bitpanda, Gemini, Krak, Deblock (first card), Gate, CoinJar and Avalanche Card, don't charge for a physical card on their entry tier. Shipping can still cost extra for express delivery.
Does the price include shipping?
Where the issuer includes standard shipping, the price does. The notes column says when express delivery or shipping is extra, for example RedotPay's express courier or Jupiter's shipping on top of $13.13.
Do I need a physical card?
Not usually. Virtual cards work online and in shops through Apple Pay or Google Pay. You need a physical card for ATM cash, places without contactless phone payments, and some hotels and car rentals.
