Our take on Gemini Credit Card
The Gemini Credit Card works like any US credit card, except rewards arrive as crypto. You pay with dollars, pay the bill each month, and Gemini buys your chosen crypto as a reward. There's no annual fee and no foreign transaction fee, which is rare for a rewards card.
The best rate is 4% on gas, EV charging, transit and rideshares, but only on the first $300 of those each month, so the 4% is worth at most $12 a month. Dining at 3% and groceries at 2% are where most people will earn. Everything else gets 1%. Because you're spending dollars rather than crypto, you avoid conversion spreads and taxable sales at checkout.
A simple, low-cost way for US residents to earn crypto on everyday spending, as long as you pay the balance in full.
