Our take on Bitpanda Card

Bitpanda is one of Europe's biggest retail investment apps, and its card lets you pay with almost anything you hold there, including gold and silver. Pick a main payment asset and a fallback, and the card sells what's needed at checkout.

It's free, Bitpanda adds no FX fee, and crypto spending earns 1% back. The catch is the conversion spread when crypto is sold, which reviewers put around 1.5% depending on the asset, so the 1% cashback mostly offsets it. Spending euros is the cheapest option, but it earns nothing.

A convenient, low-fuss card for Bitpanda users in the euro area. Don't expect real rewards.
