Quick answer

The Fold Bitcoin Credit Card is a US Visa credit card issued by Celtic Bank with no annual fee. It pays 1.5% back in bitcoin on every purchase with no cap. Keeping money in Fold Reserve, from $5,000, lifts the rate on your first $5,000 of card spending each month, up to 5% with a $100,000 Reserve balance. Our take on Fold Card

Fold has offered bitcoin rewards on debit spending for years, and its credit card rolled out from a waitlist in May 2026. It pays 1.5% back in bitcoin on everything, with no cap and no annual fee, which already beats many crypto credit cards that charge a membership.

The higher rates now depend on Fold Reserve, a balance you park with Fold. From $5,000 in Reserve, the rate on your first $5,000 of card spend each month goes up by tier, reaching 5% with $100,000. Reserve earns no interest by itself and isn't an insured deposit, so only use it if you'd keep that much with Fold anyway. Fold also runs a prepaid debit card and, since October 2026, a Spending Account provided by Lead Bank.

A simple no-fee bitcoin rewards credit card for the US. Ignore the Reserve tiers unless you already hold a lot with Fold.
