Our take on COCA
COCA is a self-custody card issued through Wirex. Your funds sit in a smart wallet, and the Visa spends them with 0% FX on every currency, which makes it a strong travel option. ATM withdrawals are free up to $250 a month, and you get a personal IBAN.
Cashback starts at 1% and rises to 8% if you stake COCA tokens, but the monthly claim limits are low, from $15 to $350. At Starter, that's capped at $15 a month. The yield on USD balances, currently 5%, is a nice extra.
A strong self-custody travel card. Treat the higher cashback tiers as a token bet.
