Our take on Wirex One

Wirex has offered crypto cards since 2015, and Wirex One is its rebuilt version. Crypto now lives in a self-custody smart wallet that you access with a passkey, while cash sits with regulated e-money partners. You can top up by bank transfer in three currencies, by card or with stablecoins.

There's no subscription and no Wirex FX markup. Cashback is paid in USD, which is nicer than a volatile token, but the free tier gives 0.5% capped at $25 a month. The higher 3% to 8% tiers need a sizeable portfolio with part of it held in WPAY.

One of the most complete crypto money apps in Europe. The big rewards depend on how much WPAY you're willing to hold.

How we scored Wirex One: 7.3/10
