Our take on Brighty

Brighty is a Swiss company running a money app for Europe. You get a euro account with an IBAN, a crypto account and a virtual Mastercard that spends your euro balance. Crypto you send in is free to receive, and you convert it to euros at Brighty's exchange rate before spending.

The free One plan works for light use. Each virtual card costs €2.99, currency exchange costs 0.6%, and cashback is 0.5% in USDC up to $20 a month. Plus (€9 a month) and Pro (€18) add a physical Visa, more cards, bigger cashback caps and a monthly allowance of fee-free exchange.

Watch the bank transfer fees. Incoming SEPA costs 0.3% with a €10 minimum, so a €500 top-up costs €10, or 2%. Funding with stablecoins is the cheaper route.

A tidy euro-and-crypto app for Europe. Fund it with stablecoins, not bank transfers, and the free plan is good value.
