Our take on Tangem Pay

Tangem is best known for its card-shaped hardware wallets, and Tangem Pay adds a Visa card to the same app. Your crypto stays in your Tangem wallet until you move USDC or USDT into the Tangem Pay account, which is what the card spends. Virtual cards came first, and physical cards opened for ordering on 9 October 2026, starting with a white limited-edition design.

The free Basic plan pays 1% back in USDC on purchases of $30 or more, up to $100 a month. Plus costs $29.99 a month and doubles that to 2%, up to $300, but Tangem waives the fee in any month you spend $4,500. Below that, Plus only makes sense if the extra cashback beats the fee: you'd need about $3,000 a month of qualifying spending just to break even.

Day to day it's cheap. Tangem adds no transaction fee and no markup of its own, and US users can move money in and out by ACH or Fedwire. ATM cash is the weak spot at 4% on Basic, so $200 costs $8 before the ATM's own fee.

A good stablecoin card for Tangem wallet owners, especially on the free Basic plan. Skip it if you need cheap cash.
